Hainan Airlines will now fly nonstop to Vancouver from Shenzhen.
The airline launched the route last year but is removing the existing Tianjin connection.
The revised Shenzhen-Vancouver noinstop routing starts on January 28.
The service will continue with two flights a week, and use Dreamliner 787-9 planes, the airline said.
Shenzhen has become an international hub for the airline, which serves routes to Australasia and Europe including Brussels, Madrid, and Paris.
The airline serves more than a dozen North American routes.
