Global hospitality company IHG has announced the signing of its third voco brand hotel in Australia.

IHG is collaborating with Brady Group to open voco Melbourne Central in July 2020.

The 252-room hotel will form part of the under-construction '380 Melbourne' skyscraper and amenities include a pool, gym, meeting space, an all-day dining restaurant and bar.

"We're thrilled to partner with Brady Group to bring the third voco to Australia as part of the spectacular 380 Melbourne development. The signing continues the rapid growth of the voco brand since it launched in June, complementing the upcoming voco Gold Coast, which will be the first voco in the world when it opens later in 2018, and voco Yarra Valley," said Abhijay Sandilya, IHG's senior director of development - Australasia.

IHG currently operates 48 hotels under four brands in Australasia - InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

There are a further 22 in the development pipeline including hotels in the EVEN and Hotel Indigo brands.
