Budget airline AirAsia is launching a new route to Vietnam.
The airline's fifth Vietnam route will connect main hub Kuala Lumpur with burgeoning holiday hotspot Phu Quoc Island starting on November 2.
The service will initially operate four times a week.
AirAsia also flies from Malaysia to Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hanoi and Nha Trang.
The carrier is offering special introductory all-in-fares for the new route starting at RM90, available to book until August 19.
"We are delighted to be the first airline to launch direct services from Kuala Lumpur to one of ASEAN's best kept secrets, Phu Quoc," said AirAsia Malaysia head of commercial Spencer Lee.
Located in the far south, Phu Quoc is Vietnam's largest offshore island and is an UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
Travellers can visit the island visa-free for up to 30 days
